Walter Trimmer 'Bailey' Blackwell

Walter Trimmer Blackwell “Bailey” of Cumberland, VA passed away on June 30, 2014. He was a retired farmer and passed away at his home. He was born on November 16, 1931 in Sunny Side where he lived all his life. He was the son of the late Eddie and Kathryn Trimmer Blackwell. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Meinhard Blackwell, three sons; Walter (Karen), Tommy (Jobyna) and Jim (Tracy), one daughter, Lucy Greer (John), 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Payne Memorial Methodist Church in Cumberland, VA at 2:00PM. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family.
