Wanda Epps Jenkins

Wanda Epps Jenkins, 62, of Rice, Virginia passed away peacefully at home, on November 7, 2025. Wanda was born in Halifax County, Virginia to the late Lawerence and Joyce Epps. Wanda spent her early years on a tobacco farm working alongside her family and was known to be a hard worker. Wanda loved watching movies, listening to music and home cooked breakfast. Wanda was a nurse by trade and always enjoyed taking care of others. She also loved spending time with her dog, “Shorty”.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Victor Thomas “Bill” Jenkins, Son, General D. Jenkins (Mattie), Grandson, General D. Jenkins Jr., Brother L. A. “Tony” Epps (Alisa), Nephews Jack, Josh, and Jacob (Leanne).

A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Her love will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
