William Winford Crawley, 84 of Farmville, VA passed away on June 26, 2026 at The Woodland. He was born on July 2, 1941 in Farmville, VA to the late Esther Walker and Harry W. Crawley. 

He is survived by his wife 63 ½ years Jane A. Crawley, a son William “Tony” Crawley (Janice) and a granddaughter Julia O’Neill.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Teresa “Terri” O’Neill.

He grew up on a large family farm in Charlotte County and graduated from Randolph Henry High School. He the went to Phillips Business College where he earned his accounting degree.

He enjoyed coaching little league baseball and girls softball for many years. He enjoyed spending his time cutting grass, gardening, feeding the birds and NASCAR!

He was a member of the Jaycee's, Exchange Club, Mason’s, and on the Board of Zoning Appeal for Farmville. He and Jane loved to travel together and listening to Bluegrass music. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA in Meherrin, VA or a charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM in Puckett Funeral Home.
