William Gordon Whitter

William Gordon Whitter, 89 of Prospect, VA passed away on December 18, 2017 in Farmville, VA.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Allen Whitter, his parents; Emmett Whitter and Vernie Whitter Meador, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his sister Peggy Johnson, numerous nieces, nephews and caregivers from over the years.
He was a retired banker for Wells Fargo Bank.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017at 2:30PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment to follow in Prospect Community Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:30PM – 2:30PM prior to service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Davis Memorial Church or Prospect Community Cemetery.
