Larry worked at Virginia Crafts and West Point Pepperell in Keysville for twenty-seven years. He was a devoted employee and supervisor department manager. After the mill closed, Larry became a real estate agent and later had a career in land investment. After a long wonderful career, he retired to do what he loved the most, which was taking care of the family farm. He always worked hard to maintain the land he loved. Larry and his wife Joanne had a dedicated marriage with a lot of wonderful memories. He was known as “Grandpa” to many and always showed his family constant love and continuously had guidance and wisdom to share. Larry was loved dearly and will be missed by so many, but he leaves behind amazing memories, those memories and his love will remain in the hearts of all of those who knew him. Memorial contributions may be made to Charlotte County Rescue Squad. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. www.puckettfh.com.
