Philip Gerard Ouellette, age 62 of Pamplin, VA went home to be with our Lord on July 8, 2019. He was born October 8, 1956 to the late Oscar Gerard and Yvette (Theriault) Ouellette of Salem, MA. Philip earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimac College in Andover, MA, then, became a successful entrepreneur in the building trades. Virginia became his home in 2001 to enjoy country living with his wife and his Brittany bird dogs. Philip was always an avid hunter and loved to spend time with his lifelong friends, including Andy Gagnon, Ronnie Bourgault and Marc Gauthier, at their special NH hunting camp. Besides the great outdoors, Philip loved golfing and Brit Floyd concerts. His career brought him to ICA Farmville, VA as a Transportation Officer these last seven years where he made many friends who will remember him for his unique sense of humor. Philip is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda (Carlson) Ouellette; siblings Richard Ouellette of Salisbury, MA, Michele (Ouellette) Jaeckel of Bolton, MA; Paul Ouellette and wife Theresa of Ellsworth, ME; nine nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
