Carolyn “Red” Hollandsworth Werner was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on February 4, 2022 at age 73.
She was born to Hurshel and Eulala Hollandsworth on December 24, 1948 in Indian Valley, Virginia. After high school, Carolyn met her husband, Bobby Joe Werner. Together, they had 3 children: Karen, Cindy, and Bobbie.
Carolyn loved spending time with her family, listening to music and taking car rides. Carolyn relished in becoming a grandmother. Carolyn spent her last years at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital in Burkeville, Virginia.
Preceded in death by her parents Hurshel and Eulala Hollandsworth; husband Bobby Joe Werner; brother Early Hollandsworth; sisters Betty Sutphin, Geraldine Shelor and Phyllis Martin; and son in law Mike Page.
Carolyn is survived by Daughters and sons in law; Karen and Cristian Martinez, Cindy Werner and Robert Jalowitz; daughter Bobbie Page; grandsons Nick and Dylan Martinez; granddaughters Katelyn and Victoria Page; sister Barbara Quesenberry and brother James Hollandsworth. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was beloved by many. A private memorial service will be held at a later date by her family. Puckett Funeral Home is serving the family. www.puckettfh.com.
