Obituary for John Micheal Baldwin
John Micheal Baldwin 57 of Cumberland, VA passed away on June 22, 2016. He was born in Cumberland on April 7, 1959 to Charlie J. and Minnie Marion Baldwin. He grew up in Cumberland and was a former member of the Fire Dept. He owned his backhoe business for over 23 years and before that worked as a painter.
He leaves behind his wife Bonnie Baldwin, two children; Crystal Armes (Walter) of Cumberland, Jessica Sloane (Scotty) of Cumberland, two step children; Ernest Davis of Farmville, Candis Moore (Dallas) of Green Bay, six grandchildren; Kody and Kaylee Armes, Preston and Ryliegh Sloane, Dallas and Madison Moore, his parents, brothers and sisters; Ann B. Adams, Shirley B. Shores (James), Jean B. Sledge, Minnie Moorefield, Frankie Baldwin (Darlene), Sally B. Stinson (Andrew Lee) and Connie B. Garrett (Charles). He was preceded in death by a grandson,Shaun Armes, brothers, Charlie Baldwin Jr, David Baldwin and sisters Mary Lou B. Moorefield and Linda B. Banton.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home interment to follow in Center Presbyterian Church, Cumberland. Family will receive friends on Monday June 27, 2016 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Puckett Funeral Home. Memorial contribution may be made to Cumberland Fire Dept PO Box 97, Cumberland, VA 23040.
